MAGNITUDE OF HOLY MASS

MAGNITUDE OF HOLY MASS

Holy mass is the most important prayer, participated and celebrated by catholic Christians from birth till death.  Holy mass constitutes all the features of prayer.
This is the prayers of prayer.  Holymass which is prayers of prayer, but has got give meaning to most of the people who participate in it, seems to really pain in heart.  How this prayer which is participated from birth remain without giving meaning? After participating in holy mass will it be possible to go with the same old thoughts?  With these type of questions, I like to share with you all what I felt and learnt questions.  Holy mass which is prayers of prayer, to whom and for him?  Is it dutiful? Or which makes god’s power to be felt?
In holy mass we all assemble.
Along with the priest who is going to preside and celebrate we all stand up and adore god with a welcome.
The priest starts with father, son and the Holy spirit, we greet each other with the words god is with us.
Whether we are competent to participate in god / Jesus’s calvary sacrifice as such we are invited to the test (Soul test) since we are not competent, we ask for apology for our sins, god who does not ignore us, who are with broken hearts, grants the forgiveness for our sins.  This is not a confession of sins.
We adore the god who has forgiven our sins by singing glory to god in the highest.
After adoring god, we pray for our intentions and for others intentions. Continuing this the priest also prays for the people.
The first reading is the confortable speech to us by god as a revealing answer to our prayer of knowing the stage of thyself and praying to god.  For this revelation of first reading, what we offer as language answer, is responsorial psalm.
God also accepts our language answer, as a second reveleation, answer us through the second reading.
We having accepted the god’s second revelation, we in our living days in most eagerfulness stand up to hear the words of Jesus, we sing Halleluah.  After giving due respect by we obtain the good news as revealed by Jesus.
The sermon is given in order to fulfill the various aspects as per 2 Timothy 3:16 god’s words, to teach, to discipline, for betterment and to live in a honest way.
In continuation to the sermon, the Lord the Trinity, who revealed us his plan, we pronounce together the resurrection openly the relationship of us with all the saints who got resurrection after leading a life as per plan of god.
In continuation to this we pray for our intentions.  In this, we pray for our worldly church, for the church where we live, for our country, society and also for ourselves.

(Note: only the above said certain features are celebrated by the people who call themselves as redeemed people, without knowledge and also who confuse people as such. Upto this only they can celebrate.)

Offerings: Offerings reveals the fruit of hard work and yield through crops on earth.  God, himself through the yield of crops gives his blessings (psalms 128:2) by confirming that.  When we submit our offerings, we revealour thanks giving to god. Along with this offerings, we submit our intentions, adoration and glorification to god.
In this way after having accepted the offerings by people, the priest celebrates together with the people the holy mass to be acceptable to god, by inviting the people only first.
The people also pray for their offerings to be fragrance spreading sacrifice.  In continuation to this the mass together offered by people and priest, the people invite the priest also to pray to god to make it acceptable to god.
The priest also prays for the offerings of people to be acceptable to god.  Continuing this the priest greets the people and people in turn also greets the priest.
The priest maks deliberations about the admirable actions of god.  Continuing this the priest invites the people also do as such.  The people after singing the psalm “Holy, Holy”, pray for their offerings to be made holy by the power of Holy Spirit, and also pray to convert the offerings into body and blood of Jesus Christ.
The offerings such as bread, and grape juice offered by the people is taken up and prayed by submission of god’s words by the priest who has been, approved and ordained as priest.  (Luke 22:17-20 Mark 14:22-24, Mathew 26:28).
It is really amazing to our eyes, when the conversion of offerings offered by the people such as the wheat bread and grape juice are changed into the body and blood of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy spirit and by gods words.
This is the action of the God. This is the action of god, proving that everything is possible for god.  This action reveals that god has accepted the offerings of the people.  On seeing this happening, we are surprised and we pronounce this as the mystery of faith.
Continuing this the priest elucidates that the body and blood of Jesus specifically tells us about the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Further the priest prays to Holy spirit to integrate the people just like the Holy spirit converted the offerings of people into body and blood of Jesus.
Further the priest prays for the pope who conducts the affairs of our entire catholic church, bishops, priests and also for the people.
After praying for the living people, the priest prays for the deceased. In this way the church which is continuously living, renews its relationship with the church that is already integrated with the lord. In this way the priest adores lord the Trinity along with the churches of the world and the perfect relationship basis which is held with god, sings the glorious song “Through Him, with Him” and as such the people answer “Amen”.
The participating people in the Holy mass, with their own eyes see that everything is possible for god, recollects the God’s words and god, and also prays for their daily need to be fulfilled, prays the prayer of Our father in Heaven” (Luke 11:2-4, Mathew 6:9-15).
The priest after praying with the words of Jesus, prays for the security and deliverance of the participating people of mass from the evil, distress, pains and domination of evil.
The priest prays for the granting of peace to the participants, of Holymass which Jesus offered to his disciples, and also shares that.
The people feel happy in conveying the peace, shared in the name of Jesus to each and every one.
After offering each other the peace, the participants of the Holymass feeling themselves unfit to participate in the Holy feast of Jesus body and Jesus Blood prays for the mercy of Lord.
The priest slightly holds up the Holy body and Holy blood of Jesus elucidating the magnitude of them invites the participants of the Holy mass for the Holy feast of Jesus, in turn the participating people answer through lord’s words.
Continuing this, the people invited for the Jesus feast, chosen people, those who have purified themselves participate in the Holy Eucharistic feast.
After taking part in the Jesus Holy feast, we offer thanks. Further we request the security and power of god, complete the Holy mass.  Continuing this we proceed to live happily.
The participants who participate in this way only experience the power and magnitude of the Holy mass, if so, how yourselves are participating in the Holy Mass?
Since the offerings of the people only change into the body and blood of Jesus, it means that Jesus loves you, and your offerings and also accepts them, is it not?
If it is so, Lord does not give back your offerings, in the same form but instead gives in the form of body and blood of Jesus and make you strong.  Jesus feels so happy in you is the meaning is it not? If so please tell.

Holy Mass – whose Holy Mass?
Is it the people’s?
Is it the Priest’s?
It belongs to both of them, is it not?

Although if Holy Mass is celebrated with a thought that it is people’s, it will be well and good.
Atleast from this new year onwards, let us participate in Holy mass in a meaningful way!
